Amarillo—The top students of the Holy Cross Catholic Academy Class of 2011 have been announced by Darla Mueller, associate head of school for operations and instruction at Holy Cross.
Valedictorian is Daniel Frazier and Salutatorian is Audrey Kos.
Daniel Frazier is the son of Dr. Dustin and Deborah Frazier. He has been active in Latin Club for two years and the Science Club for four years. He played football for two years and was voted Homecoming King and Mr. HCCA this school year. Frazier was active in National Honor Society and Student Council. He has also received numerous athletic and academic awards, including Top Student in several courses. After graduation, Frazier plans to attend Texas A&M University and major in medicine.
The daughter of Michael and Cindy Kos, Andrey Kos has attended Catholic Schools for 15 years, beginning prior to pre-school. She has been active in volleyball and track, where she was named to the All-District teams and participated in the State Track Meet. She was a member of the TAPPS 2A Basketball Academic All-State team. Kos has been active in National Honor Society and Student Council. She was received numerous athletic and academic awards. Kos plans to go to college and major in athletic training.
Baccaulaureate Mass for the Class of 2011 is set for Thursday, May 26 at 7pm at St. Hyacinth’s Church, 4500 West Hills Trail. Commencement Exercises will take place the following evening, also at 7:00, at St. Joseph’s Church, 4122 South Bonham.
