Tickets Available For ACTS Fundraiser

Amarillo—Tickets remain on sale for the Pay It Forward fundraiser to benefit the Amarillo ACTS Community.

The drawing will take place Sunday, Aug. 9 at a Men’s ACTS Retreat Potluck Dinner at the Bishop DeFalco Retreat Center, 2100 North Spring. Top prize is a $10,000 VISA Gift Card.

Tickets are $20.00 each and can be obtained online at www.actsamarillo.org, according to Kent Hoelting, incoming ACTS Core President. Second prize is a $5,000 VISA Gift Card, third prize is a $2,000 VISA Gift Card and fourth prize is a $1,000 VISA Gift Card. Only 5,000 tickets will be sold and the parish that sells the winning ticket will also receive $1,000.

“Our Pay It Forward fundraiser is being conducted in an effort to help keep fees low as possible for those taking part in an ACTS Retreat,” said Hoelting. “We continue to be blessed with our weekend host, the Bishop DeFalco Retreat Center, but with rising costs associated with putting on an ACTS Retreat and restructured price increases, we feel the need to offset the new fees.”
