Amarillo—After previously announcing that the annual Capuchin Sisters’ Anniversary Celebration would not be taking place this year, the Capuchin Spiritual Alliance reversed its earlier decision and announced that a celebration would indeed take place this year.
The celebration is set for Saturday, Aug. 27, beginning at 6:00pm with Mass at St. Lucien’s Chapel, with Bishop Patrick J. Zurek presiding followed by dinner on the convent patio. Tickets for the dinner are $20.00 per person.
This year, the Capuchin Sisters will be selling a number of homemade items during the dinner. Items include tablecloths, cookies, aprons, decorated towel sets, individual embroidered hand towels, jewelry, rosaries and bookmark crosses.
