Adult Confirmation Retreat Scheduled

Amarillo—An Adult Confirmation Retreat for adults in the Diocese of Amarillo who have received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist but not the Sacrament of Confirmation is set for Saturday, April 5 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1200 South Washington.

The retreat begins with registration at 8:30am, according to School Sister of Notre Dame Sister María Elena Ferrer, Coordinator of Faith Formation for the Diocese of Amarillo.

“This retreat is for adults who have been preparing since fall to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation during the Adult Confirmation Mass on Saturday, April 26,” she added. “The Confirmation Retreat will be offered in both English and Spanish and all candidates are expected to attend this retreat. Attendees need to bring their baptismal certificate and the form that was sent to their pastors.”
