DCYC Volunteers

 

The date scheduled for this year’s DCYC is April 25 – 27, 2025 at the Amarillo Civic Center. The volunteer assignments will only be on April 25 and 26.

NOTE: Do not fill out this form if you are registering with your parish youth ministry as a volunteer.

Please be sure to fully read the following:

• If you plan to volunteer, you will be requiredto attend a Safe Environment training. You will be in the presence of teens, and it is our responsibility to keep them safe.
  • The information for the training can be found here and select Amarillo (Diocese) on the tab. Please be sure to register for one of the trainings being offered. Note: The trainings are subject to change. 
  • Depending on the number of volunteers signed up, the Office of Youth Ministry plans of possibly offering a Safe Environment training for those that cannot make it to the trainings being offered.
  • Kindly let the Office of Youth Ministry know if you cannot make it to either of the trainings being offered.
  • Fill out form "C" and mail to: Diocese of Amarillo - Attn: Youth Office - 4512 NE 24th Ave. Amarillo, Texas 79107

 

• If you plan to volunteer, the Office of Youth Ministry needs to know as soon as possible what day(s) and time(s) you plan of being there.
  • Friday, April 26th – 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. 
  • Saturday, April 27th – 8:00 a.m. until midnight. 

 
This event heavily depends on volunteers like yourself, and know that your God-given talents will have a major influence on the lives that will be transformed at this conference.  Once you confirm that you will volunteer, more information will be provided to you. Unforeseen events do occur, and the Office of Youth Ministry completely understands this, but know that we hold our volunteers to high standards of commitment and accountability.
