"For 1 in 6 couples these words will take on new meaning as they face difficulty conceiving, which can drastically alter how they once viewed their future would unfold. Infertility can be a particularly heavy cross for the Catholic couple who is open to life and God's will, but finds this roadblock within such an intimate part of their marriage. We seek to support couples experiencing infertility through a three-pronged approach: by addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs." Learning to attain or postpone pregnancy in harmony with God’s plan through fertility awareness enriches marriages, strengthens faith, dramatically lowers divorce rates, and helps women avoid health risks associated with contraceptives.

NFP reflects the dignity of the human person within the context of marriage and family life, promotes openness to life, and recognizes the value of the child. By respecting the love-giving and life-giving natures of marriage, NFP can enrich the bond between husband and wife.
