Amarillo—“Evangelizing is in fact the GRACE and vocation proper to the Church.” - Evangelii Nuntiandi, #14
Evangelization is the theme of the 2010 Diocesan Faith Formation Conference, set for Saturday, Aug 7 at St. Mary’s Church, 1200 South Washington.
“At this Annual Faith Formation Conference the theme is Evangelization,” said Sister Janet Abbacchi, SSND, Diocesan Director of Faith Formation. “The Assembly Document on Evangelization is the result of many hours of work inspired by the Spirit to give us direction in evangelizing the people throughout our Diocese. Representatives of the parishes were strong in telling the Assembly Committee that Evangelization is extremely important and that we all need to learn the “tools” for evangelizing! It is imperative that we take advantage of the opportunities of this Annual Faith Formation Conference. Without a doubt, the presenters will share with us some aspects of Evangelizing with heart, commitment, hope and enthusiasm for our Church.”
